It's been a move-disrupted month with little help from Orange and BT (come the revolution...) But we're finally getting sorted.
We also have meeting rooms and sample storage. Plenty of space for all your products before they go out to target customers.

Well, we've finally moved into our new offices. In Potteries-speak, we flitted. And what a charming location we're now in...

...but not without the trials and tribulations of the comms companies. After 20 hours on the phone to said villains, Orange will only be able to connect us on January 10th so we cannot post our new landline until then. If Try Me Now adopted the same couldn't-care-less approach we'd have no business !

Try Me Now Sponsors Leek Town

Try Me Now is delighted to be sponsoring Leek Town Predators Under 15's.

Rachel said "We've been following Town's Predators for some years and recognise outstanding natural quality - something in common with our company and industry philosophies. Our investment in training jackets will be an ongoing commitment to this talented group of youngsters."
Predators continued their fine form with a 4-2 win away to Mow Cop on Sunday, and are currently 2nd in the league with two games in hand.

New Website Host and ISP

It's all change on the virtual front. Try Me Now has changed both site host and service provider.

After a problematic few months with long-term supplier Switch Media, we have now moved to a top class hoster, Nixia , and after much longer term issues with BT we've moved on to Orange for internet service provision.

I can't think why anyone would choose BT for anything. They are simply the worst...the WORST supplier I've encountered in 30 years. You cannot sort a problem with BT - call centre in Manila, Philippines - can't understand you and you can't understand them...very frustrating. Then once you've decided to change supplier you get threatened and harrassed by BT's UK operation, threats and lies that they cannot substantiate. BT - just say no !
Anyway, all sorted now and blood pressure levels stabilised.

Yogi Training

The Try Me Now Team was back in the classroom yesterday, this time for one of the leading herbal tea brands in the world.

A riveting day of instruction from the yogi master Sat Hari on the physical and spiritual benefits of his way of life and Yogi Tea was a delight for us all.








We look forward to seeing you in stores around the country from next week with Yogi product samples.

Weleda

Try Me Now is delighted to be working with Weleda in this, their 90th anniversary year.

Our winter/spring work collecting retailer opinions and data proved how appreciated the Weleda brand is out there in natural health land, both by retailers and consumers. This has now culminated in an ongoing partnership over the next couple of seasons and both parties are looking forward working together, on the merchandising of Weleda displays in stores around the UK.

Yesterday's training day at Weleda was a scintillating mix of classroom and 'out-in-the-fields' fun. The tour and explanation of the pure method of biodynamic cultivation was a real treat for all the TMN team.90 years of Weleda organic and biodynamic trade hasn't happened by accident and the Try Me Now team was impressed by the history and science that has gone into those years of pure development

If you're a retailer with a healthy Weleda product turnover, then there's a chance we'll be coming to your store for a full merchandising makeover.

Anaphylactic Shock

Just back from the Devon and Cornwall stores and what an eventful trip it's been !

David managed to throw an anaphylactic shock on Sunday ending up in Torbay A & E. What looked to be a fairly innocuous fresh tuna steak pan fried in (what we later discovered to be) rapeseed oil did a monstrous job of laying him out - low temperature, heart rate at 160 bpm, body covered in purple rash, blue lips, involuntary tremours...very, very frightening. Ambulance, piriton, hydrocortizone, adrenalin, wires, drips - all managed to steady the stricken vessel after about 4 hours of madness. And he didn't even cry once !

So, what did that ? Come on you health boys and girls, please tell us whatever you know about the subject cuz it's not something we want to repeat. He's had fresh tuna many times and although extreme allergy can develop at any time, we suspect the RAPESEED OIL - any contribution to the subject very welcome.

Try Me Now Christmas Sample Hampers

I know, I know, don't mention the 'C' word, but the Try Me Now Christmas Sample Hamper is already getting a great reception from natural health retailers all over the country.
We're putting the finishing touches to the 200 much-in-demand retailer parcels carrying goodies galore for those special stores who are lucky enough to be on our list.

Our favourite stores in all parts of England, Wales, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Channel Isles and Eire are now receiving the Hamper and giving us the key information on price, taste, packaging and of course, placing orders.

...was a huge success.

Try Me Now hit the road up to Edinburgh with a van full of 6 of our customers' stock and enjoyed a busy consumer show in the northern capital.

Footfall numbered into the thousands and we didn't stop from dawn til dusk !
